The Journey Has Started

Every adventure begins with a single step. For me, that step is here, the launch of the Travelling Mac. This blog has been a dream of mine for a long time: a place to share travel stories, tips, and ideas, and hopefully spark a bit of inspiration for your own journeys.

Travelling Mac isn’t about ticking off the biggest attractions or racing through countries just to say I’ve been there. It’s about slowing down, noticing the details, and finding meaning in the experiences along the way — whether that’s watching a sunrise on a quiet coast, wandering down backstreets in a new city, or chatting with a stranger who becomes a friend.

This site will grow in a few different directions:

• Travel Blog: I’ll be sharing stories, guides, and reflections from my own adventures. Think practical tips mixed with personal experiences — the kind of content you can actually use when planning your own trips.

• YouTube Links: Video brings places to life in a way that words can’t always capture, so you’ll also find links to my YouTube channel (@travellingmac.travel) where I’ll be sharing clips, behind-the-scenes looks, and vlogs from the road.

• Travelling Mac Store: To go alongside the stories, I’ve also created a small store with branded travel items and accessories. These are drop-shipped directly to you, which means I can focus on creating content while still offering some fun gear for fellow travellers.

  
  

Why now? Because travel has always been more than just a hobby for me, it’s been a way of learning, growing, and connecting. After years of dreaming and planning, I’m finally ready to bring it all together into one place.
